Let's explore science in the pool! From octopus propulsion to making tsunamis, the pool has lots to offer curious scientists!

This event has been cancelled: Unfortunately, Amadeo's shows for the science festival have had to be cancelled. He will make a full recovery, but had an accident this past weekend and will need to take it easy for a few weeks. He really looks forward to bringing his shows back for Nanofest and seeing you next year!

Groups of kids will explore science experiments in the pool from octopus propulsion to making tsunamis, the pool has lots to offer curious scientists! There will be five drop-in sessions, each with a different focus: biology, geology, physics, chemistry, and astronomy. Pay the Moana pool entry, and then the event is free. Look for Amadeo and the Fun Science sign in the Leisure Pool and join in!

Note: While this event is free, entry fee into Moana Pool is required. At the time of writing, the cost for a child swim was $3.40 per child. Accompanying adults can request a free spectator's pass. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult.
