Bring us your old electronic devices and we'll give them new life!

Bring us your old electronic devices and we'll give them new life! In partnership with the Dunedin City Council we are offering a FREE drop-off point for unused or end-of-life consumer electronic goods.

The improper disposal of electronic waste, or e-waste is a growing issue in New Zealand and the world that contributes to land and air pollution, and also sends useful materials to landfill that could be recycled into new technology.

Consumer electronic goods only. We can accept the following: cell phones, laptops, desktop computers, tablets, computer screens, household printers, computer cables, keyboards and mice, as well as household and computer batteries (batteries must not be leaking, corroded, expanding or otherwise damaged).

Our staff and volunteers retain the right to refuse any item deemed unsafe to handle - please do not bring anything heavily corroded, leaking fluids, with exposed broken glass, very dirty/mouldy items or any expanding batteries. These items will be turned away.
