Come see New Zealand's tenth meteorite up close and learn about how the Fireballs Aotearoa meteor camera network tracked it down. View the footage of this fireball and other major events that have been captured by cameras since the project started two years ago.

We will also have fragments of real meteorites for you to touch, including one from Mars! See what they look like under a microscope and learn what they can teach us about the formation of the Solar System and the origin of life on Earth.

If you have any strange rocks sitting on your shelf that you think might be meteorites, bring them along and get them identified by our onsite geologist.
