2022 NanoFest 14-17 July

Event Hosts

Interested in hosting an event during the 2023 New Zealand International Science Festival? Read on!

The 2023 Science Festival will run from 30 June to 9 July 2023. Over those 10 days, there will be 100+ events of all shapes and sizes across Ōtepoti Dunedin, highlighting a wide range of science. We are currently on the lookout for events for both families and adults in a number of different formats as there are countless ways to engage our audience with the exciting wonders of science.

It is possible for anyone to get involved in the science festival! We work with individuals, universities and polytechnics, research institutes, non-profit organisations, scientists, science communicators, venues, artists, media and more. If you have a good idea or an interesting concept related to science and want to communicate it, this is the place to be.

Keen to propose an event idea? Please download and read the Call for Ideas document, which outlines just about everything you'll need to know to host an event with us.

We are here to help, and are always open to hearing about your event ideas in advance so feel free to contact us to discuss your event or with any questions you may have. Get in touch with Andrea: [email protected] or 022 084 9478.
