The 2025 Science Festival will run from 28 June to 6 July 2025. Over those 9 days, there will be 100+ events of all shapes and sizes across Ōtepoti Dunedin, highlighting a wide range of science. We are currently on the lookout for events for both families and adults in a number of different formats as there are countless ways to engage our audience with the wonders of science.
Anyone can get involved in the science festival! We work with individuals, universities and polytechnics, research institutes, non-profits, scientists, science communicators, venues, artists, teachers, media and more. If you have a good idea or an interesting concept related to science and want to communicate it, this is the place to be.
