The School of Biomedical Sciences undertakes a broad range of world-class research, from agriculture to medicine. Within our School you will encounter a great diversity of leading-edge researchers working on a wide variety of topics from cancer, human and animal health, immunology, virology, and neuroendocrinology, through to plant biotechnology.

The five academic departments of the School of Biomedical Sciences are the Departments of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Physiology.
