Tūhura Otago Museum’s Makerspace is famous for its amazing crafts, and this time we're celebrating space with the Out of This World Makerspace!

Create your own constellation card, make a keepsake planet-mobile, or fashion your own spectacular star-wand – this is a makerspace to celebrate our amazing galaxy as part of the 2023 NZ Science Festival.

Set in the beautiful, light-filled space of our Atrium, parents and children can craft together, working with some fantastic, free resources. Bring your friends, grab a coffee, and enjoy.

These self-guided, family-friendly activities are a great way to spend an hour or more and are suitable for all ages.
