LEGO Robotics Workshop: FLL Future Edition - come and play!

BOOKING ESSENTIAL - tickets available from Wednesday June 10th.

LEGO has just released the new Computer Science and AI robotics kit! Come and explore this new robotics tool with Harrison and Adam, members of Wolfpack Machina, an award-winning robotics team from the United States.

FIRST LEGO League Future Edition will be using the new Computer Science and AI kits to allow them to run a fun, interactive workshop at the Tūhura Otago Museum. The workshop is open to participants ages nine and up.

In August 2025 Harrison and Adam taught robotics workshops at the Tūhura Otago Museum which resulted in nine new FLL teams starting, one of which won the FIRST LEGO League New Zealand Championship and then went on to represent New Zealand at the World Championship in the United States in April 2026.

Note: Workshop participants under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

FLL New Zealand is happy to waive the FLL team fee and game set fee for new teams registering for the FLL Future Edition. Teams must, however, purchase their own LEGO Computer Science and AI kits.
