On the afternoon of Saturday 22 July 2028, Ōtepoti Dunedin will experience it's first full solar eclipse for 1000 years. You might say that the stars have aligned as this once-in-a-lifetime event falls during our annual festival!
The NZ International Science Festival will have a full schedule of events from Friday 14th July - Sunday 23rd July 2028.
Ōtepoti Dunedin is a city with a rich culture of arts, science and nature, so it's going to be an incredible place to watch this life-changing event. Not only that, you can experience a whole week of science shows, workshops and activities leading up to it. We look forward to welcoming you!
