We are now seeking tūao/volunteers to help run and facilitate events in Ōtepoti Dunedin during this year’s Festival, 15-19th July 2026.

We have a huge variety of exciting events on the programme (launched June 3rd), from a buzzing festival hub, engaging science shows, panel talks, lots of workshops and even a Science Train! 

To bring this all alive, we have a range of volunteer roles - from hands-on event facilitation roles to ticket taking and general event support. The main venues are the Festival Hub in the Wall St Mall and Te Whare o Rukutia, both easily accessible by public transport.

We request that volunteers take on a minimum of 2 shifts during the Festival (between 4-8 hours in total) and require all volunteers to be at least 16 years old.
