Join the Wonder Project for a water rocket launch competition!
Join the Wonder Project and the Engineering New Zealand Dunedin branch for a water rocket launch competition for local businesses, schools and individuals.
Individuals: Create your own masterpiece at our bottle rocket station and launch it using our specialised equipment. Please bring your own empty 1.25L soda bottle.
Schools: Local Rocket Challenge schools are welcome to come and find out which school had the best rocket from the 2025 challenge. Will you beat out the rest?!
STEM businesses: Create your own bottle rocket, using all your design and engineering knowledge, and bring it along for a launch off, competing against other local organisations.
Prizes are up for grabs so come along, get involved and have some fun! You’ll also learn more about the Wonder Project, Engineering New Zealand’s STEM education initiative for schools across Aotearoa.
