The nzfrogs.org website was started by Prof Phil Bishop in 2007! NZFrogs was established as a charitable trust in 2023 to continue helping people to learn about and engage with the conservation of New Zealand’s native Leiopelma frogs.

Since 2023, the website has been updated and NZFrogs has developed a series of educational booklets and posters showcasing Leiopelma frogs and their conservation.

The series, entitled ‘Pepeketua of Aotearoa’, is attractively illustrated to appeal to all ages, but also provides a complete introduction for interested readers.

At this event, NZFrogs will showcase the 'Pepeketua of Aotearoa' series in English and Te Reo Māori with some fun craft activities.
